Our Work
MISSION:
Ausland Volunteers (AV) is a structured, mission-focused organisation that provides both community service and personal development for its members. We are built on discipline, training, and action, ensuring that volunteers are not only prepared to serve but also grow as individuals through practical skills, leadership experience, and a strong sense of purpose.
Our work extends beyond providing assistance in disaster relief, security support, and emergency response—we also invest in our volunteers, equipping them with the knowledge, resilience, and capability to lead, act, and excel in their personal and professional lives.
VOLUNTEER OPERATIONS:
The Volunteers operate across multiple levels, from local service initiatives to regional and national deployments. Volunteers train regularly to develop the physical, mental, and practical skills necessary to be effective in any situation.
At the community level, AV assists with public safety, emergency logistics, and disaster response. Our volunteers gain hands-on experience in first aid, search and rescue, crisis coordination, and event security, allowing them to build confidence and practical readiness.
For those seeking greater challenges, AV offers opportunities to participate in specialist training and large-scale operations, refining skills in navigation, tactical logistics, communications, survival training, and strategic leadership.
Beyond direct service, AV provides its members with a structured environment for personal growth, offering access to:
Regular training and fitness programs – Building strength, endurance, and resilience.
Leadership development – Training volunteers to take command roles in real-world scenarios.
Specialist skill acquisition – Opportunities to develop expertise in emergency response, logistics, and crisis management.
Cultural and philosophical education – Strengthening identity, purpose, and understanding of historical traditions.
Through these programs, AV members gain a unique skill set that applies to both service and personal advancement, ensuring that every volunteer leaves stronger, more capable, and more prepared for life’s challenges.
CALL FOR SERVICE:
Volunteer operations may also involve responding to Calls for Service, which are requests for assistance initiated by a Unit Command, another volunteer, or on behalf of a member of the public. Calls for Service are varied and can include, but are not limited to:
Community support: Assisting members of the community through community.
Emergency response: Offering assistance during accidents, fires, natural disasters, and other non-permissive environments.
Search & Rescue: Conducting search and rescue operations in urban, rural, or wilderness settings.
Disaster relief efforts: Delivering aid and supporting recovery tasks in disaster-affected areas..
Paramedic & medical: Providing paramedic and medical assistance where needed.
Importantly, all attendance to Calls for Service is voluntary and is matched to a member’s training, role, and individual willingness.
Each unit of the Ausland Volunteers operates with a level of autonomy under a structured chain of command. This ensures they can address specific regional needs while maintaining alignment with AV’s overall mission and operational guidelines. Regular reporting and assessments ensure that every activity is measurable, consistent, and impactful for the communities served.
Through disciplined training and action, AV demonstrates its commitment to readiness, professionalism, and service.
